Description
The Child & Family Therapist is responsiblefor providing clinical mental health services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic. Responsibilities will include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health therapy services to identified clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment using Evidenced Based Practices to children families, and adults
- Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes
- Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.
- Maintain productivity of 60% reportable / billable services
- Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to assure the services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements
- Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings
- Staff cases which require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required
- Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary
- Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision.
Non-Physical Requirements: Education
- Master's degree in social work preferred or master's degree in counseling or other behavioral sciencerequired
Experience
- Two years of experience working with children, families adults in a professional outpatient setting
- Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation or eligible
Licensure, Registration, Certification
- LMHCA, LICSWA, LMHC, LICSW, or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor
- Valid Washington Driver's License and minimum required liability insurance for WA State
- Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities liability insurance provider

- Bilingual preferred, but not required
Employment is conditional upon:
- Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required
- Compliance with agency policy regarding Disclosure of Outside Employment for purposes of evaluating potential conflicts
Wage:
- $35.67 - $38.22 per hour for unlicensed (LAAC, LICSWA, LMHCA, LMFTA) Therapists
- $79,500-$90,100 per year for licensed (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC) Therapists
Bonus:$4,000 (paid in 2 installments) - $8,000 (paid in 3 installments)
Relocation:up to $5000
Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, or 10am-7pm
