Summary:

Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, NM is seeking a dedicated and experienced fulltime Audiologist to join our patientfocused team. In this role, you will provide audiological services to patients of all ages, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. The Audiologist will perform audiometric testing at the request of referring physicians and assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of hearing disorders. Responsibilities also include the treatment of hearing conditions through hearing aid assessment, fitting, dispensing, and ongoing adjustment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 1.00 Job Exempt: Yes Work Shift: Varied Days and Hours (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient history using information from the medical record and a thorough patient interview

  • Conduct a full range of diagnostic audiological testing for patients of all ages

  • Perform diagnostic audiometric evaluations, including pediatric and infant testing (OAE)

  • Manage district school hearingscreening programs

  • Dispense, program, and adjust digital and programmable hearing aids

  • Evaluate, interpret, and document test results in the patient chart

  • Educate patients on hearing loss severity, hearing aid options, and hearing conservation

  • Assist with the newborn hearingscreening program

  • Provide aural rehabilitation services for adults and children

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in audiology

  • Current NM Audiology License and endorsement to dispense

  • Current ASHA membership

  • Five to ten years post graduate experience in audiology and hearing aid dispensing
