We are looking to hire a Statistician to join our Epidemiology & Statistics team with a focus on improving the health and well-being of people through principled data science. Sourcing connected data sets across multiple therapeutic areas, we design and implement advanced epidemiologic and statistical methodology, answering important healthcare research questions using cloud-based, web-deployed analytic and custom visualization tools. What You'll Do * Write statistical analysis plans. * Assemble analytic data files using R-based tools that exploit various AWS technologies * Conduct statistical analysis using custom R-based analytic applications * Generate meaningful data visualizations * Provide quality checks throughout the research process * Maintain strict version control of analyses and documentation using Gitlab * Assist in report or manuscript preparation and review * Interact with external partners and internal scientists * Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Masters' degree in biostatistics, statistics or related field with 1+ years of relevant experience in advanced statistics, study design, statistical programming and reporting or recent PhD in biostatistics or statistics. Proficiency in R required. Preferred experience with observational data collection and analysis. Experience working with and analysing data from electronic health records or large healthcare claims databases is also preferred. Interest in implementing causal inference methods.
