Job Overview Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Maintenance Supervisor at our Adult Rehabilitation Center. We're seeking an experienced and skilled supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance department. This role is crucial in evaluating systems, determining maintenance needs, and planning work assignments to ensure our facilities run smoothly and efficiently. Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hr. Status: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week Key Responsibilities Maintenance Operations
- Facilitate or perform maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting systems
- Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs
- Initiate and manage work order system to track completion and quality
- Estimate labor, materials, and costs for all work orders
- Keep necessary records including maintenance log, mileage log, and OSHA log
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and compliance requirements
Team Leadership
- Supervise and train maintenance workers
- Provide training and mentoring to promote success
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure proper use of PPE including gloves, masks, and back guards
Project Management
- Assess building systems to plan work assignments
- Create and manage project schedules
- Determine maintenance and repair priorities
- Coordinate with other departments for minimal disruption
- Available for flexible schedule including early/late shifts and some weekends
Qualifications Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of maintenance experience
- Extensive knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong management and supervisory capabilities
- Ability to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Proficient in planning maintenance schedules
- Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite
- Strong communication skills in English
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Basic math skills
Required Certifications
- Must maintain valid driver's license
- Must qualify to drive TSA vehicles
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, handle, feel, hear, and talk
- Frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment
