Electric Power Generation Sales Representative

The Electric Power Generation (EPG) Sales Representative is responsible for developing lasting relationships with Mustang Cat's power generation customers. This role requires a candidate with extensive generator sales experience, including selling generators of all sizes and understanding power generation applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Learn about customers' business needs and develop customer-driven solutions utilizing Mustang Cat's unique abilities to serve them
• Establish and maintain profitable relationships with contractors, engineers, and end users within Mustang's territory
• Deliver sales presentations for all EPG product offerings
• Create quotes, process sales orders, and review contracts
• Utilize Salesforce to manage customer relationships
• Remain up to date on market trends

Position requirements:

• Extensive experience selling generators of all sizes and applications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years of outside sales experience in the industry with a proven ability to grow a sales territory
• Strong technical knowledge of generator sizing, applications, and load requirements
• Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
• Competitive mindset with a strong work ethic

Strongly preferred experience:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Knowledge of CAT equipment
