The Program Assistant IV in Auxiliary Accounting Services at Allan Hancock College provides administrative and accounting support for the department's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions and Qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit DE-542 reports to the Employment Development Department (EDD) for independent contractors.
- Match returned receipts for advancements to corresponding check requests, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Scan, organize, and securely shred financial documents in compliance with record retention policies.
- Monitor the Auxiliary Accounting Services email account, reviewing and printing incoming receipts, invoices, and completed meal sheets.
- Verify that signed meal sheets align with the approved funding, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Process requests for district invoices, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and timely submission.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support Auxiliary Accounting Services operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in accounting or administrative support in a business or educational setting.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, invoice processing, and record-keeping practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and document management systems.

Work Schedule Flexible work schedule: 6-8 hours a week, as needed, within normal college business hours. Salary Program Assistant IV: $24.00
