The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for developing and growing profitable commercial truck rental revenue across the state of Florida. Based in Orlando, this role focuses on maintaining and expanding our existing commercial truck portfolio and acquiring new business opportunities. The BDE will also support and guide Independent Operators and Truck Dealers within the region to help maximize business performance through joint sales efforts.
What You'll Do:
Develop in-depth knowledge of Budget Truck products, services, and solutions. Create and execute sales strategies to drive profitable truck rental revenue and grow market share across Florida. Prospect, acquire, and retain mid-market commercial truck rental accounts. Build strong referral relationships to maximize business opportunities. Deliver effective sales presentations and business reviews to both customers and internal stakeholders. Provide tailored solutions that address customer challenges and deliver measurable value. Lead contract negotiations and close deals that align with both customer needs and company goals. Maintain detailed records of all sales activity, account interactions, proposals, and contracts within Salesforce.com. Attend local events, trade shows, and business functions to promote the Budget Truck brand. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to share market insights and improve customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years successful outside sales/account management experience (direct sales techniques preferred). Experience in the commercial vehicle, logistics, or transportation sector is a plus. Valid driver's license required. Proven ability to generate innovative ways to sell commercial truck solutions. Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and account development. Confident and professional presence with clients at all levels. Excellent business acumen, planning, and organizational skills. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams. High level of energy, integrity, and enthusiasm. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel throughout Florida, including overnight travel as needed.
