Element Risk Solutions Insurance Broker- Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Risk Commercial Auto Insurance, Agent or Independent Broker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will own and develop a client portfolio of Element Risk Solutions products which include insurance coverage placement, safety and accident management services. You will utilize access to our current customer base with Commercial Leasing Sales teams to market to existing and prospective leasing clients as well as independently fulfill the sales objectives for insurance sales.

  • Preferred location is Southern US
  • Internal Candidates will be required to actively work to obtain a P&C Broker's license, should they not already have one.
  • External Candidates are required to be P&C/Commercial Auto licensed, preferably in 50 US States or actively pursuing registration in those states where their license has not been recognized.
  • Availability to travel greater than 50% of the time

Duties:

Client Acquisition & Retention

  • Lead sales prospecting and presentations aimed at demonstrating the value of Element Risk Solutions. Gain client's consent to begin to enter quoting process.

Sales Process

  • Drive growth of the product through Commercial Team and Broker Partner interaction to meet sales performance metrics for Insurance and other ERS services.
  • Triage and support any client hand offs/technical support with Insurance platform and client data.

Process Assessment

  • Actively participate in refinement and update the sales process as it relates to Salesforce automation and contract process streamline.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and report out on sales tracking metrics.

Market Research

  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and new product offerings in the Commercial Auto Insurance, FMC and Commercial Leasing sectors.

Claims Support

  • Assist Broker partner and internal teams with claims processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Scope & Impact

  • Lead the client facing presentation the ERS value proposition and benefits to the insurance product. Obtain consent from existing leasing customers for quoting in assigned geography or portfolio. Work with our insurance market partners to facilitate the quote production. Present quote options to prospective clients with a close ratio as outlined in our Key Performance Metrics for product.
  • Own, Maintain and Grow individual sales funnel on a quarterly basis in line with outlined Key Performance sales metrics.
  • Assist the SR Director, Insurance, with onboarding of additional newly hired Brokers on Element Fleet Management, and the Element Risk Solutions products.

Education and Experience

  • University degree with at least 5yrs experience or college degree with 5-7yrs relevant Commercial Auto insurance sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Fleet Safety and Risk Management program implementation experience.
  • US: Must have or will obtain Active Property & Casualty (P&C), Commercial Auto insurance license for all US states preferably.
  • Canada: Must have or will obtain RIBO and other Provincial Insurance broker licensing.

Knowledge and Competencies

  • Strong negotiation. sales and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • In -depth knowledge of Commercial auto coverages and market industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Fleet Safety products and policies.
  • Familiarity with claims processing and risk management strategies.
  • Client development / relationship management experience
  • Solid understanding of Commercial Auto policy wordings / coverages
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills

The hiring base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
