POSITION SUMMARY

The Dashing Bear Supervisor will be experienced in retail and fashion-savvy. The Dashing Bear is a high-end boutique specializing in premium fashion brands and exclusive homeware. The Dashing Bear Supervisor will be the face of the boutique, delivering exceptional customer service and showcasing a deep knowledge of high-end fashion and luxury home decor within a mountain community. This is a benefit eligible, Flex Year-Round position. This position will be compensated at $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Assist with hiring staff and training
  • Maintain a clean and inviting retail location
  • Accountability for all security issues involving cash handling, theft, liability & premises
  • Collaborate with Retail Manager in preparing operating and capital budgets, including labor, and completing monthly variance reports
  • Responsible for retail inventory, counts, reconciliation, store transfers, theft procedures, warranty returns and all related paperwork
  • Review product mix, OTB and stock levels with the Head Buyer on a regular basis, assist with buying as directed
  • Continually exceed our guest expectations and create memories for guests and staff
  • Additional duties as assigned by management


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required


Experience:
  • Previous supervisory role in retail, preferred
  • Previous retail experience, required


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Computer literate
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong people skills, a team player
  • Passion for the outdoors, fashion & functionality


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
