How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Vice President, Head of Revenue Operations, will lead the strategic direction and execution of revenue-generating operations within our advertising sales division. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the SVP will be a pivotal member of the senior leadership team, responsible for aligning and optimizing processes across Strategy and Planning, Go-to-Market (GTM) design, Territory Planning, Pipeline Management, Revenue Forecasting, Pricing & Yield Management, Business Operations, and Sales Systems Administration & Automation. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced technologies, including AI tools, to enhance productivity and drive automation.

What you'll do:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue operations strategies that align with the company's overarching business objectives.

  • Collaborate with the CRO and senior leadership to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.

  • Translate revenue goals into hiring plan, budgets, marketing campaigns, and related initiatives to exceed our financial objectives.

Data Analytics:

  • Capture, analyze, and report on GTM process to take action and optimize.

Sales Systems Design and Implementation:

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of sales software systems. Ensure seamless integration and functionality to support the sales team's efficiency and effectiveness.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy:

  • Lead the development of GTM strategies, encompassing sales methodologies and motions. Ensure alignment with market demands and company goals to drive revenue growth.

Territory Planning:

  • Establish and manage effective territory planning processes. Ensure equitable distribution of opportunities and resources to maximize sales potential across regions.

Pipeline Management and Revenue Forecasting:

  • Oversee pipeline management and revenue forecasting processes. Utilize data-driven insights to provide accurate and actionable forecasts.

Pricing & Yield Management:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and yield management practices.

  • Optimize revenue generation while maintaining competitive market positioning.

Business Operations and Process Optimization:

  • Design and refine business processes to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and improve productivity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing Operations, Training & Enablement, and Client Services teams. Drive cohesive strategies that enhance revenue generation and operational efficiency.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in revenue operations, strategy and planning, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or related fields within large-scale sales organizations.

  • 10+ years in a leadership role.

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

  • Experience in Media Sales, Sales Tech SaaS (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Ad Tech SaaS, or general SaaS environments.

  • Familiarity with modern sales methodologies such as Solutions-Based Selling, MEDDIC, Sandler, etc.

  • Proven track record in setting up Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and related sales technologies. Experience with activity tracking, prospecting, lead generation, marketing automation, and managing the lead/customer journey.

  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a collaborative approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience in enabling and enforcing sales methodologies. Ability to drive consistent sales practices across the organization.

  • Proficiency in owning pipeline councils and forecasting processes. Ability to provide accurate and insightful revenue projections.

  • Experience in integrating AI tools and automation into sales and revenue operations.

  • Commitment to leveraging technology to drive efficiency and productivity.

  • Proficiency in distributed database architecture, managing data pipelines, and relevant statistical modeling preferred.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $375,000 to $416,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
