The Worldwide Center for Career and Professional Development is seeking a proactive Career Development Advisor to support students throughout their academic journey with personalized career planning and professional development. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for student success, and the ability to effectively engage with both students and employers in a variety of settings. As a member of the Career Services team, you will play a key role in guiding students through career planning, internship opportunities, and professional events, all while contributing to the smooth operation of career services platforms and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with career planning, including resume building, interview preparation, and career development strategies.

  • Support the administration and management of the Co-op/Internship (COIN) Program.

  • Provide ongoing support and training for Handshake, the Career Services platform, for Worldwide students, alumni, and staff.

  • Help organize and execute Worldwide Industry/Career Expos and other career-related events.

  • Collaborate with Career Services teams at Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses, the ERAU Alumni Association, and other internal departments to ensure seamless career support services.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

  • 0-1 year of related experience.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and professionalism. Familiarity with digital technology and career development tools preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing environments.
