The Opportunity The College of Business (COB) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide (ERAU-W) is seeking a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems to join the Department of Decision Sciences (DDS). This is a U.S.-based remote position and will require an at-home office. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate management information systems courses. The typical teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year, which extends from 1 August to 31 May. Faculty will teach with innovative academic technologies and delivery platforms almost entirely online. Courses reside within the College of Business and have a strong business focus, applying information systems and technology management concepts to aviation and other industries. Responsibilities:
Faculty will have a strong commitment to teaching, remaining current in the profession, and service to the department, college, university, and profession. The successful candidate will also develop, maintain, and assess courses. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in revising the Master of Science in Information Systems program. Faculty must be willing to travel to attend meetings and conferences, although travel is limited.
