The job description for this position will consists of characterizing the impact of in vitro generated midbrain dopaminergic progenitor cells in animal models of Parkinson's disease (PD). The work will involve establishing animal models of PD and how cell replacement therapy can improve rotational behavior and other behavioral markers of PD. Identification of novel differentiation procedures and novel transplantation strategies will also be an ongoing process.
