Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role
  • Develop test plans for system level testing on XM30 program
  • Develop test reports for system level testing on XM30 program
  • Create and maintain test schedules and resources for system level testing on XM30 program
  • Provide high level estimates for labor hours and material dollars related to system level testing
  • Develop instrumentation plans for XM30 program
  • Coordinate with lab technicians and other subject matter experts as required
  • Coordinate with field engineering representatives as required
  • Prepare weekly status reports for management and project leadership
  • Communicate program issues, needs, and updates with management, project leadership and GDLS leadership
  • Lead daily test calls for XM30 program
  • Ability to lead a small team and provide clear direction to support personnel
  • Execute significantly complex vehicle testing on multiple vehicles at the same time.
  • Good knowledge of private test sites - ARES, NATC, KRC, TRC, Holly Oaks, etc.
  • Good knowledge of USG test sites - APG, YPG, EPG, RTC, Grayling, WSMR, etc.
  • Create scope of work documents for suppliers and other GDLS related test activities
  • Good knowledge of various test equipment, test methods, and procedures identified in MIL-STD-810, APTD-2404, ATPD-2167, TOPs, ITOPs


Qualifications Sought
  • Bachelor degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or other technical degrees
  • Personal computer skills: MS Office Suite, Creo, Teamcenter, Internal company databases and programs
  • Occasional travel required to various test sites
  • Great writing and communication skills
  • Strong ability and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Extended hours and weekends required on occasion
  • Good leadership skills.
