Sr Financial Analyst

Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst contributes to the growth and capabilities of the overall FP&A team. Works directly with business and Corporate FP&A counterparts to execute all business and project activities. Supports critical analysis transformation projects, research, and product development across all assigned functions. Candidates in greater Salt Lake City area preferred.

Responsibility

1. Play a key role in the compilation and distribution of the monthly departmental financial reports, regular dashboard statistics, and budget variance analysis.
2. Develop financial models and analyses to support, measure, and monitor strategic initiatives.
3. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators.
4. Assist in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
5. Support the Senior Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis.
6. Participate in financial administration of Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS).
7. Participate in financial administration of Enterprise Data Management (EDM).

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
2. 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst or senior accountant.
3. ERP and BI software with Essbase-Smartview experience required, Looker experience preferred.
4. Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights.
5. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with attention to detail.
6. Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills with an innovative and organized mindset and eagerness to further develop such skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to work with teams in hands-on development capacities.

Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
