SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team. This individual will primarily focus on the key aspects of recruitment and the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for enhancing the employee experience at all stages of the employee lifecycle.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Develop job descriptions and job specifications in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Source, attract, and engage with candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, career fairs, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions and provide a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities and employee data.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Prepare and analyze recruitment metrics to be shared with leadership team.
  • Support HR team in implementing employee engagement and training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies for HR processes.



QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
