We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Technology team. In this role, you will develop, create, and modify computer applications software and databases to drive operational efficiency and improve business processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to analyze user needs, design custom software solutions, and implement scalable, reliable applications that support Target RWE's mission.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze business requirements and assess their impact on existing systems.
  • Design and develop automated software solutions that meet user needs and promote operational efficiency.
  • Customize and optimize software for client use, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
  • Analyze and design databases within the application area.
  • Implement software changes and enhancements according to development standards.
  • Test software solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and perform reliably.
  • Support user acceptance testing and production deployment activities.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, providing ongoing support to operations teams.
  • Communicate system changes and support documentation to the Operations team.
  • Continuously invest in professional development by exploring new tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Work independently on tasks of increasing complexity.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of software development experience in a commercial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Highly skilled in AI/ML software development, specializing in Generative AI applications.
  • Proficiency in Python and cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with distributed computing and process automation tools (e.g., GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as Langchain and Langgraph.
  • Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor teams and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Total Rewards

The salary estimated for this position is $90,000-$130,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
