Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

Clearance Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As part of the Weapons and Navigation Systems team, you will lead teams advancing solutions for next-generation cannon artillery and precision guided munitions. Ensuring precision strike and battlefield dominance in GPS-denied environments.

Utilizing your strong team building skills, you'll use proposal plans and strategies to lead a team in developing, defining, and implementing cohesive, integrated program/product, subcontractor, and material plans and business plans that achieve overall current and long-term objectives of the program/product, business unit, and division. We'll rely on the Senior Program Manager to identify needed resources for projects, define and assign major program roles, lead the establishment of and sets integrated WBS-based budget and schedule baselines including management reserve for advanced development programs/products or major subcontracts where the scope is not well defined and there is significant possibility for change. You'll monitor work accomplished to baseline plans to ensure rate of work completion is sufficient to meet program/product schedules, develops corrective actions, and communicate issues, impacts and corrective actions to program teams and balance programs, risks and opportunities with executable strategies to meet technical requirements and budgets.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations
  • Demonstrated leadership in engineering development and/or production programs for integrated hardware and software systems with a high degree of complexity
  • Proven experience managing critical customer relationships ensuring healthy collaboration
  • Ability to establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Ability to lead others in team building, conflict resolution, motivation, and leadership in both on-site and remote working environments

What sets you apart:

  • Substantial knowledge of advanced armament systems and technologies including current and potential applications
  • Extensive knowledge of Army markets and applicable technologies, specifically weapons and munitions including fuzing and power technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of government budgeting and contracting practices and regulations regarding acquisition
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to relay issues, impacts, and corrective actions on programs to internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills understanding and carefully managing complex contracts and contract requirements
  • Comfortable managing a portfolio that evolves over time; at times, you may be responsible for one large program or multiple smaller technology development programs
  • Success in developing competitive proposals and operating in a structured proposal development environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with highly experienced engineers and architects to solve technical and programmatic challenges, including design-to-cost and design-to-schedule


Target salary range: USD $198,921.00/Yr. - USD $215,239.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
