Job Description Responsibilities:
Building pipeline and uncovering new opportunities through embedded partnerships Qualifying and educating partners on WEX B2B payment products. Gaining an understanding of the B2B payment market and helping WEX position itself to win new customers and partners Launching and managing referral partnerships Working with ERP marketing teams to position WEX within marketplaces Analyzing data and metrics to identify optimal growth channels Collaborating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, product development, and operations. Follow embedded deals internally through risk, compliance and legal optimizing efficiencies and timing Attend opportunity meetings (virtual and in person) with prospects and assist with follow up items such as decks, nda's and funds flows Build relationships internally with WEX compliance, legal, product and risk groups

Teamwork and Collaboration: The candidate should be a team player and able to work collaboratively with other departments such as sales, marketing, and product development. Communication Skills: They should have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Adaptability and Flexibility: The payments industry is constantly evolving, and the candidate should be adaptable and flexible to changes. Attention to Detail: They should have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with payment regulations. Passion and Drive: The candidate should be passionate about the payments industry and have the drive to succeed and make a significant impact in the organization.
Preferred Qualifications/Ideal Candidate:
Technical Skills: They should have a baseline knowledge of B2B payments systems and the ability to understand how ERP integrations work. They should also have knowledge of embedded payments and the importance of embedded payment strategy. Industry Knowledge and Experience: They should have experience in the payments industry - preferably with B2B payments, as well as a good understanding of the industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
What do you need to succeed in this role:
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred 10+ years experience in relationship management, consultative sales, contract negotiations, operations, and/or solution architecture roles. Relationship management or Business Development experience, preferably with large fintechs and technology companies
Demonstrated financial acumen Excellence in personal effectiveness and credibility with management and partners Excellence in flexible problem solving, analysis, and issue resolution
Consultative sales Contract negotiations Payments product and/or technology experience Project management experience Ability to travel 30% of the time
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $124,000.00 - $165,000.00
