We currently have an opening for a Senior Quality Control Inspector in our Clarksburg, MD office. This position reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance.



Responsibilities

  • Inspect electrical assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
  • Inspect mechanical assemblies in accordance with technical documentation.
  • Interface with the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Interface with Quality Engineering in support of problem resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate non-conforming material status.
  • Maintain high ethical standards, including compliance with all company procedures.


Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications - Fluent in English.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 plus years' experience in Quality, Manufacturing or related technical environment.
  • Experience in inspecting electrical / mechanical assemblies.
  • Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
  • Must be able to obtain required certifications within the first 6 months of hiring.
  • Competent in use of inspection variable gages including micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to read and understand technical data documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge a plus.
  • Experienced in working with computers and various Microsoft Office software applications such as word and excel.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

The hourly pay range for this role is $23.40 - $29.90 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
