Summer temporary positions available - No experience required!

Program Dates: May 27, 2025 - August 2025 (flexible end date in August based on your schedule!)

Compensation: $16.00 per hour plus $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift - up to 52 hours per week, overtime paid for hours worked over 40 per week

Core Schedules:



  • Shift(s) to be determined during 1st week

    • 1st shift: Monday through Friday 6am-2pm
    • 2nd shift: Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm
    • 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday 10pm - 6am
    • Continuous Operations Shift: 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm, four days on - four days off


  • Overtime required as scheduled
  • July 4th, Independence Day, off!

Job Description

The Hershey Company Robinson plant is a non-union plant producing products such as PayDay, Heath, Skor, Milk Duds, Whoppers, and Reese's Pieces, in a high-speed complex environment. As General Labor, you will work in a variety of roles assisting in processing and packaging within the plant. Laborers are responsible for maintaining our highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, and production and packaging requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Packing and constructing boxes as assigned
  • Responsible for moving materials, supplies, and finished goods through the facility with a manual or electric pallet jack
  • Inspect and examine materials and finished goods for quality concerns
  • Hand palletizing of product
  • Follow proper lot tracking procedures
  • Stack skids or pallets in designated area
  • Clean up and dispose of scrap, cardboard, and strapping to place in proper containers or designated area
  • Complete rework process
  • Performs cleaning duties
  • Meet daily production goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must posses a High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Proficiency of the English language (read, write, and speak English)



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in production, packing or manufacturing setting
  • Experience operating an electric pallet jack
