As our Receptionist, you are the company's front line and first impression. You will professionally and courteously greet visitors and direct them to appropriate employees all while providing exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate has exemplary people skills, is courteous, detail-oriented, and listens well. You can anticipate someone's needs to provide a superior customer experience. This person will also answer in-person and phone inquiries, effectively screen, and direct phone calls, and provide general information, as warranted. Our ideal candidate will uphold the company culture, mission, and values always while making guests feel welcomed and valued. If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you. This position is located onsite in Lisle, IL. Hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes on-site visitors and determines nature of business, and announces visitors discreetly to appropriate employees via Teams or by phone.
- Presents a professional image for the company.
- Responsible for answering, screening, and directing phone calls to appropriate parties.
- Able to quickly become knowledgeable about the company and its staff to properly direct inquiries.
- Assists with compiling, preparing, and distributing special projects.
- Monitors visitor access and issues security badges/visitor passes.
- Coordinates with building management protocols and updates.
- Assists with projects and tasks to support other administrative assistants.
- Research, collect and create data points for resources.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
- This position will coordinate safety and security initiatives with Enterprise Safety & Security. They will be a member of the emergency response team.
- This position is a designated Campus Security Authority.
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 5 years experience in customer service, front desk, and clerical duties required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, multitasking, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; Experience in MS Teams preferred.
- Prior receptionist/concierge/hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to learn proprietary software systems on the job will be required.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $17.15 and $27.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
