Lead Production Technician - "I" Shift - Nights

We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As a Lead Production Technician supporting our manufacturing site, you will be trusted to supervise team processes and work with Technician II operators and Electro-Mechanics at Johns Creek, GA.

In this role, a typical night will include:

• Ensure all associates are properly trained per standard operating procedures, tracking progress and certification completion.

• Serve as a go-to resource for associates needing clarification on quality standards and process expectations.

• Monitor quality metrics, defect rates, and scrap trends to proactively address recurring issues through training.

• Conduct real-time coaching on defect identification using the latest defect catalog updates.

• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements, reinforcing the importance of accurate and complete records.

• Identifying and recommending improvements/preventative actions

• Inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and systems

• Supervising processes, estimating costs, making, or verifying calculations, analyzing, and interpreting data

• Testing new and modified products, processes, and/or systems

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

• Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating nights shift: 2 nights on, 2 nights off, and every other weekend nights)

• Travel Requirements: 0%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Associate Degree in Engineering/Science/IT or Technical Certification

• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
