The Financial Reporting Analyst prepares financial reporting documents and coordinates financial management activities. This role provides financial reporting, analysis and coordination. This role is responsible for accounting and financial reporting activities for multi-organizational systems supporting MCVH, MCVP, VCU, MCVF, etc. This role also performs standard and ad hoc financial analyses for senior management.

Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible financial/accounting experience One(1) year of experience in budget preparation or financial reporting Previous experience in intermediate/advance level of Microsoft products
Experience PREFERRED: Three (3) years of' progressively responsible experience in financial management and reporting in a health system or physician practice.
Education/training REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited program Equivalent training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Education/training PREFERRED: Master's degree in Business or Finance from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required: Manages accounting and financial reporting activity of the department. Performs detailed financial analysis and makes recommendations. Discerns appropriate method to handle financial transactions and reporting methodology. Proactively identifies potential issues and recommends appropriate responses. Coordinates adjustments within multiple organizational accounting systems as needed.
