Position: Event Marketing Coordinator
Location: Irvine, CA - Hybrid
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire
OVERVIEW:
A fast-growing manufacturer of outdoor modular power banks, lighting accessories, and solar panels is seeking an experienced Event Marketing Coordinator in Irvine, CA. This role plays a key part in bringing the brand to life at trade shows, media events, and retail activations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in event coordination, is highly collaborative, organized, and passionate about creating memorable brand experiences from concept to execution, and has a passion for outdoor gear, and tech lifestyle products.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Lead planning and execution of the brand's presence at trade shows, industry expos, and activation events.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to translate brand identity into compelling, on-site visual and interactive experiences.
Manage all logistics related to events-including shipping, equipment coordination, staffing, and on-site setup.
Coordinate inventory planning with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and display readiness.
Represent the brand on-site, engaging attendees and fostering connections with prospects, partners, and media contacts.
Develop and implement interactive booth elements that drive engagement, foot traffic, and brand recall.
Partner with sales and marketing to support lead generation before, during, and after events.
Track and report on key performance metrics; collect feedback and provide suggestions for future improvements.
Assist with identifying opportunities for retail programs, distributor partnerships, and purchasing platform participation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience in event coordination, trade show management, or experiential marketing.
Proven ability to collaborate across departments, working closely with design, logistics, and leadership teams.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills-adept at juggling timelines, vendor coordination, and last-minute changes.
Hands-on approach with a positive, team-oriented mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Confident and personable communicator who enjoys engaging with people at live events.
Interest in outdoor gear, sustainability, or tech lifestyle products is a plus.
Proficient in project management tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
