The Role The Senior Manager Facility Operations duties are to oversee all National Tennis Center trades and year-round facility maintenance. Scheduling, budgeting, and verifying routine off-season preventative maintenance programs, US Open preparation, and US Open and non-US open events in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other facility maintenance projects. Utilization of CMMS building work tickets and preventative maintenance programs, budget management, and reconciliation of vendor invoicing. Ensure all systems are code compliant and maintain the operational integrity of all US Open and year-round site systems.
Daily management of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, fire alarm, and elevator/escalator vendors and trades responsible for all site maintenance projects and site operating systems.
- Management of trades and vendors to meet all facility requirements for the US Open and year-round, non-US Open events such as concerts, corporate outings, and festivals to ensure the success of events.
- Daily oversight of CMMS work ticket requests, assignment to vendors, facility management, and subsequent close out and reconciliation of invoicing.
- Maintain a preventative maintenance program through CMMS for the NTC Campus, which includes electrical equipment, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Responsible for procuring and closing all facility and event-related public assembly regulatory approvals.
- Work in conjunction with USTA Dir of Security on all site-wide fire alarm systems and coordination with FDNY on all inspections and maintaining all records, licenses, and permits.
- Responsible for research and selection of electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and fire suppression equipment, parts, and materials required for maintenance and year-round projects.
- Responsible for ensuring that plumbing, fire alarm, electrical, elevator and escalators, and mechanical systems are operating efficiently and to ensure NYC code compliance.
- Responsible for enforcing NTC safety protocols and ensuring all laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations, and emergency procedures are followed.
- Supervises and trains seasonal staff in job duties.
Who You Are
- 7+ years of increasing responsibilities demonstrated supervisory experience within
- the Building/Trade industry with maintenance and operations experience of large
- sporting venues or similar.
- Proficient computer skills are required. Knowledge of AutoCAD, CMMS building
- software, BMS or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of budget management, tracking and control.
- Working knowledge reading blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Position is considered onsite specific to the National Tennis Center

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $99,000 - $122,000. This position is exempt. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
