Overview

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: Extensive experience in construction consulting and program management, with a strong background in leading large-scale, complex programs within the construction industry. Proven track record of managing multiple programs simultaneously, including strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and client relations. Demonstrated expertise in overseeing diverse teams to deliver programs on time, within scope, and on budget. Experience in developing and executing program strategies, optimizing operations, and driving business development opportunities within the construction consulting sector. Evidence of progressive career development and success in managing cross-functional teams to achieve program goals and enhance overall service delivery.



Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES:

    Lead the development and execution of construction program consulting services for the designated service line, focusing on strategy, operations management, and business development.
  • Lead the development and refinement of internal processes to standardize and enhance service delivery across all construction program consulting efforts.
  • Oversee business development activities, including the identification of new opportunities, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Lead strategic planning and program optimization efforts to ensure efficient delivery of services, meeting client expectations while aligning with MBP's long-term goals.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for consulting assignments to ensure efficient service delivery and profitability.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and technology to enhance service delivery and operational performance.
  • Assemble teams of subject matter experts, junior staff, and support personnel from within a matrix organization that is tailored to meet the needs of the program and to provide leadership, coordination, and planning sufficient to effectively employ the assembled team to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Engage in business development activities to expand the service line, focusing on new clients, partnerships, and market segments.
  • Actively contribute to corporate initiatives, helping shape MBP's overall strategy and service offerings.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Attend industry conferences and actively participate in professional associations, staying current on trends and innovations in construction program management and business development.
  • Maintain necessary registrations and certifications, and continually seek opportunities for professional growth and development.


Qualifications

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

B.S. in an industry-related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Professional registration, certifications, or specialized technical knowledge in construction program management. In-depth understanding of construction management, program development, commissioning, and project controls. Expertise in project management techniques, including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development for construction-related services. Knowledge of best practices in strategic planning, program optimization, and operational efficiency within the construction industry.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Expertise in construction program management, including service delivery, strategy formulation, and operational execution. Strong capabilities in identifying growth opportunities, leading business development efforts, and building client relationships within the construction consulting sector. Proven ability to develop and manage construction programs, ensuring they meet client objectives, timelines, and budgets. Highly skilled in managing multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing complex projects, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Ability to drive operational improvements, increase profitability, and establish new service offerings.

GUIDANCE/RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for the development and delivery of construction program consulting services, including strategic direction, operations, and business development. Works closely with other service lines to leverage expertise and contacts for program consulting project execution and development. Reports to the Service Line Leader, receiving strategic guidance on overall objectives. Fully accountable for the quality assurance, profitability, and growth of the service line in the construction program consulting domain.

SUPERVISORY:

Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise large teams across multiple projects, while overseeing strategic and operational tasks. Capable of fostering collaboration, driving performance, and ensuring continuous improvement within the team and service delivery.
