In this role, you will lead and direct facility operations at the Hearne Service Center.

This position will interact with all levels of employees including upper management, safety, quality, corporate representatives, contractors, and customers. The person in this position will have a high level of interaction with vendors and all levels of employees at the Service Center on a daily basis. The decisions made by the person filling this position are of a high range of complexity and independent judgment is exercised. The candidate for this position should have the ability to fill the Service Center Managers position in times of vacancy/absence.



Responsibilities

    Lead and manage the Service Center's Operations and Ops Team in a fast-paced production environment including all aspects of facility capital improvement projects and investments, facility engineering & maintenance, material & procurement, shop ME's, facility scheduling & switching, facility data and records management, and IT support.
  • In coordination with the Facility Finance Manager, support all aspects of Service Center financial reporting, analysis and controls, including managing the facility's OpEx budget, the facility fixed asset list, vendor contract management, and AP support.
  • Responsible for car flow and car files from the time of car service event to car outbound including all car control through the Service Center.
  • Support facility SQDC goals, CI projects, and all other shop initiatives and projects as directed by the Service Center Manager.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Operations, Financial Accounting, Engineering, or Organizational Behavior, or Associate's Degree with equivalent experience
  • Significant Problem Solving experience
  • Related experience with overall Plant practices
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Three to five years of experience in related industry
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certifications preferred
  • Accounting Management experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience is a plus

Min

USD $90,400.00/Yr.


Max

USD $123,000.00/Yr.
This role may be eligible to participate in the Company's short-term incentive plan, the details of which will be provided to the applicant upon hire.
This range is a reasonable estimate and takes into account several factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, skill set, experience, education, training, internal equity, and other business needs.
