Responsibilities

Empower AI: As the Training Subject Matter Expert, responsible for identifying and evaluating employee training needs, designing and implementing tailored training programs, and monitoring their effectiveness to enhance employee skills and performance across the program. This includes assessing training needs, developing training materials, delivering training sessions, and collaborating with program managers to ensure successful employee development.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

    Working under general supervision, administers, organizes and conducts organizational training programs
  • Assesses and develops training packages, including outline, text, and handouts
  • Assesses, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates training programs (including visual aids, guides, course materials, handouts, etc.) to train all levels of staff
  • Schedules training events, arranges instructors, obtains instructional materials, and ensures employees are kept abreast of training requirements
  • Ensures sustainment training to include ongoing training, compliance and regulatory training, training of incoming personnel, refresher training and user training
  • Develops surveys/assessments to assess and analyze training needs, consults with management regarding training needs of the organization, coordinates with outside vendors/internal SMEs, ensures availability of all training materials, and coordinates communications and relevant instructions
  • Works with managers to identify individual and/or team developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in current positions
  • Develops technical courses and relevant guides related to training procedures, applications, best practices, and training theories
  • Updates course documentation and training assignments on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance
  • Keeps abreast of information training needs, trends, methods, new materials, and techniques and determines relevancy to employees
  • Maintains comprehensive expertise regarding various professional certifications and training and development needs important to the organization
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-9 years of training management experience
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or higher
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certified
  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) IT Project Manager qualified (DCWF 802)
  • GSEC or Security+ certified, or higher
  • Experience supporting Army Information Technology programs

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Travel by land or air transportation 10% or less
