Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Plastic/Cosmetic Clinic-UMass Advanced Practice Provider (APP) opportunity to join the Plastic/Cosmetic Clinic at UMass Memorial Health. This is a full-time outpatient position, consisting of 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday, no call duty or weekend shifts. Located at the Hahnemann Campus Position Summary: Conducts comprehensive health assessments with a high level of autonomy and expertise in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions while promoting overall wellness. This role involves making clinical decisions, integrating education, research, leadership, and consultation into practice, and collaborating effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Under the general supervision of a physician, you are responsible for obtaining detailed medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting lab tests and imaging studies, formulating diagnoses and treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing counseling to patients and families, all in adherence to state practice guidelines and national board certification standards.
