Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Associate Director of Enrollment Services - Financial Aid Operations for University Enrollment Services. Under the direct supervision of the Executive University Director of Enrollment Service, the incumbent manages all financial aid processing and admissions processing responsibilities related to day-to-day operations.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Coordinates all aspects of processing for the University Enrollment Service Office, including University Financial Aid, Registration and Admissions processing.
  • Works closely with the Executive University Director of Enrollment Services to provide the leadership necessary to support an efficient, University wide processing
  • operation.
  • Develops strategic plans to assist the Executive University Director of Enrollment Service in the successful delivery and administration of all financial aid, registration and admissions processing. Responsible for making independent policy and procedural decisions.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Seven to ten years of financial aid administration and administrative systems involvement or oversight.

Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in a higher education, complex organizational setting.
  • Proven ability to manage staff including direct administrative experience at senior level in financial aid.
  • Incumbent must have team development skills, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and be a self-initiator.
  • Incumbent must possess working knowledge of financial aid operations and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred.
Equipment Utilized


  • FAMS, SRBD, NJAS and Banner or similar mainframe systems in regards to need analysis and award packaging, registration, and applicant processing operating in large, complex environments.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Processing Systems which include but not limited to:

    • CPS
    • COD
    • SAIG
    • G5-financial system
    • NSLDS
