Join our Team

As a Logistics and Material Handler, you'll be responsible for material handling, inventory accuracy, equipment operation, and safety compliance. You will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, logistics teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations.

In this role, you will also be responsible for loading trucks for customer deliveries and pickups, and third-party logistics (3PL) shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper load balancing, and adherence to shipping schedule. Your attention to detail and efficiency will help us maintain on-time deliveries and exceptional service for our customers.

What You'll Do

Material Handling & Inventory Management:

* Receive, store, and distribute raw materials, packaging supplies, and finish goods alignment with production schedules.

* Ensure accurate tracking materials using ERP system (QAD)

* Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and prevent material shortages

* Properly label, organize, and store materials for easy access and efficient warehouse operations

* Stage materials for production to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.

Operational Efficiency:

* Deliver raw materials and packaging supplies on time to support production schedules

* Minimize material waste and optimize warehouse space through effective storage management (FIFO method)

* Load and unload trucks for customer deliveries, pickups, and third-party logistics (3PL) shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper load balancing, and adherence to shipping schedules

* Collaborate with production, sanitation, quality assurance, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.

* Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles (such as 5S) to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Equipment Operations

* Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification/training provided).

* Conduct routine inspections and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance.

* Maintain RF Terminals by ensuring proper handling, troubleshooting minor issues, and reporting persistent problems to IT support while following up on resolutions.

Health, Safety & Food Safety Compliance

* Follow OSHA and workplace safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents

* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, including GMP, SQF, HACCP, STATE, and FDA

* Properly handle and store materials to prevent contamination or damage

* Participate in safety meetings and report any hazards or concerns

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Inventory accuracy and reduction of material variances.
  • On-time material delivery to production lines.
  • Adherence to warehouse safety protocols and incident reduction
  • Efficiency in material handling and storage optimization
  • Pallet and storage organization: Ensure materials are stored correctly, aisles are clear, and warehouse layout standards are met 100% of the time to optimize space and workflows.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

* Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

* Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred

* Technical Skills: Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided)

* Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus

* Proficiency in English both written and oral communication

* Strong proficiency in mathematical concepts for inventory tracking

* Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures, from -10F (freezer/cold storage) to 75F (ambient warehouse conditions), while maintain efficiency and safety.

Bonus Points If You:

* Are bilingual in English and Spanish.

* Have previous experience in a food manufacturing environment

Schedule Openings:

* 1st Shift Monday to Friday: 6am to 3pm

* 2nd Shift Monday to Friday: 2pm to 11pm

* 3rd Shift Sunday to Friday: 10pm to 7am

* Weekend work may be required based on production needs

* 2 positions per shift, with a total of six roles required
