What We Offer
The Site Logistics (SL) Bulk Truck Scheduler position manages the schedule for all Bulk Truck shipments out of Baytown for TDI, OTDA, Monomeric MDI and Polymeric MDI. This position takes a leadership role for the advanced planning of all functional requirements using multiple SAP/P1P transactions regarding bulk truck finished goods and all its ancillary order fulfillment, inventory, and material shipment activities. The SL Bulk Truck Scheduler is a key part of the Supply Chain for North America, Mexico and Canada. The SL Bulk Truck Scheduler is responsible for all bulk truck shipments to Covestro's customers and outside Distribution and Warehousing Centers as well as internal plant customers. The SL Bulk Truck Scheduler has a critical role in communication between many Regional Product Planners and Corporate Order Management Reps, internal and external customers, including plant unit personnel, carriers, and vendors. The SL Bulk Truck Scheduler's job includes document preparation, order/delivery processing, inventory balancing/closeouts, coordination of container availability, scheduling, and planning of finished goods production for stock transfer and customer orders, verification of shipments and essential activities associated with the delivery of Covestro products to meet customer demand.
Accountable of day-to-day logistics activities supporting the planning and scheduling of open bulk truck orders to be loaded and shipped to the external customer. Oversee production and logistics operations to meet customer ship dates listed in the Supply Chain Cockpit (SCC) and/or the Advanced Bulk Handling (ABH) tools in SAP/P1P. Continuously communicate daily exceptions and order status updates between site logistics operations, external carriers, Integrated Planning and Customer Service Specialists. Solve strategic issues regarding material integrity, certificates of analysis, materials queuing to quality status, with the Lab and Quality Control personnel as needed. Responsible for Returned Goods receipt and coordinating the disposition of goods for any bulk truck returned to the Baytown Site. Provide back-up support for the Channelview site bulk truck shipments. Support communications between the different external warehouses and material management to ensure on-time delivery and follow-up on logistics changes.

Knowledge and use of new and current processing technologies (SAP P1P, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills, team player, good decision-making skills. Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail. Efficient multi-tasking and a sense of urgency are necessary.
