Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage security systems and equipment including access control, closed-circuit television cameras, intercoms, alarm systems, and other security-related technologies.
Essential Functions:
- Install and configure low voltage security systems, including access control panels, closed-circuit television cameras, intercoms, intrusion detection systems, and other related equipment, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of existing security systems to ensure their optimal functioning.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with low voltage security systems, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to pinpoint problems and implement effective solutions.
- Assist in upgrading and expanding existing security systems to meet the hospital's evolving security requirements.
- Ensure that security systems comply with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
- Work closely with the hospital's security team, facility managers, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate installation and maintenance schedules, address security concerns, and provide technical support as needed.

Licenses and Credentials
Experience Electronics Experience 1-2 years required and Low Voltage Systems Experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting low voltage security systems and related equipment. Understanding of electrical principles, wiring, and circuits relevant to low voltage systems. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise installations and accurate documentation. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
