About the Role
As a Product Marketing Manager at O'Reilly, you will play a key role in shaping how our learning solutions connect with users. You'll design and execute go-to-market strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help define how our products stand out in a competitive market. Your work will directly contribute to increasing customer adoption, engagement, and business growth.
Salary Range: $93,000-$135,000
What You'll Do
  • Create cross-functional go-to-market plans to increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
  • Oversee the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels like digital marketing, social media, and email marketing - including, but not limited to youtube to attract, engage and retain customers
  • Develop and own the content marketing strategy and execution in partnership with product and editorial.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to develop marketing materials such as marketing content, promotional videos, and other supporting materials.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify B2C customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make
  • Create, implement, and optimize product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target audiences
  • Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to optimize the top-of-funnel customer journey
  • Operate as a strategic partner to product management and execute on strategic initiatives that align product development, B2C market opportunities, and customer needs
  • Champion a culture of data-driven marketing, leveraging A/B testing, cohort analyses, and funnel metrics to validate (or disprove) hypotheses quickly
  • Establish voice-of-customer programs that inform product strategy and roadmap priorities
What You'll Have
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Product, Product Management or related field
  • In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered
  • 3+ years of product marketing experience
  • Deep understanding software go-to-market strategies for B2C
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Experience working directly with product management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration
  • Project management skills to execute marketing campaigns on time and within budget
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
