Your Opportunity As the Head of Total Rewards you will lead, optimize, and scale New Relic's global compensation and benefit programs. You'll work closely with the Chief People and Culture Officer and our leadership team to create a differentiated employee value proposition, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes and deliver exceptional value to our employees. What You'll do
- Lead and manage the Compensation and Benefits team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and alignment with HR strategic goals.
- Design, implement, and manage competitive global compensation structures, including salary bands, bonus plans, and incentive programs, ensuring alignment with market trends.
- Lead the strategy and optimization of our global employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement and pension plans, wellness initiatives, and other country-specific benefits, ensuring efficient delivery and employee education.
- Develop and ensure compliance with compensation and benefits policies and procedures, adhering to all relevant labor laws and organizational policies.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to evaluate and adjust compensation and benefits packages, ensuring competitiveness within industry standards.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to provide insights and recommendations, developing comprehensive reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Work closely with other HR functions and departmental leaders to ensure compensation and benefits strategies support overall organizational goals and workforce planning initiatives.
- Promote employee understanding and satisfaction with compensation and benefits offerings through effective communication strategies and education initiatives.
What this role requires
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CCP) preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Compensation and BenefitsIn-depth knowledge of global compensation structures, benefits administration, and applicable laws/regulations.
- Global experience in both public and privately equity backed organizations, including familiarity with private equity compensation programs
- Experience managing a self-funded insurance program is a plus
- Proven leadership skills in managing and developing a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Workday HRIS, including the Advanced Compensation and Talent Management modules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Impeccable discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
