Description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Quality Inspector to support and enforce quality standards in support of electronic assembly and subassembly production. The hired candidate will work within the production and validation processes of electronic assemblies, circuit boards, wiring harnesses, etc.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with electrical components and/or assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of industry quality standards, principles of electronics and electrical engineering, and production methodology.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office.
  • Experienced with electronics assembly, electrical engineering, production, and industry quality standard is preferred.

Personnel Clearance Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

  • Perform pre-power wire harness Continuity & Isolation testing/validation.
  • Perform pre-power solder joint inspection and pre-power wire crimp inspection.
  • Perform schematic reviews and validation (including change submissions as needed).
  • Execute initial and pre-power inspection procedures as developed by HWE and leadership.
  • Assist in resolving production failures or product issues.
  • Work in a team environment and attend weekly team meetings.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
