This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. Manager Talent Acquisition, High-Volume/Call Center - The Auto Club Group

What you will do

Reports to: Director or above

Lead a team of high-volume/call center recruiters with accountability for driving performance and delivering to ambitious growth plans for the business. Demonstrate lateral and vertical thinking across multiple client areas to help lead the execution of ACG's and TA's strategy. Monitor and drive the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts, with specific attention paid to the continued flow of candidates through the recruiting funnel. Provides consulting services on talent strategies; builds, maintains and sustains relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers to gain in-depth knowledge of broader client business objectives and enterprise-level goals and direction. Create an environment that fosters accountability, innovation, engagement and ownership of individual and team results.

Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Recruitment Leader and peers to build an effective infrastructure to support Talent Acquisition Recruiters in doing the important work of sustaining ACG's growth. Create and implement recruiting processes and strategies that emphasize quality and speed of hires to support business growth.

Develop team members to ensure each member is fully trained, understands expectations and achieves operational excellence. Hold team accountable for established Key Performance Indicators. Ensure compliance with company policy and government regulations regarding selection and hiring procedures. Ensure accurate and timely processing and completion of records and reports related to applicant tracking, employment trends, etc.

Maintain deep industry knowledge. Enhance competencies and experience necessary to continue professional development in this field.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Select, hire, train, develop, counsel and discipline assigned staff in accordance with corporate and Human Resource policies and procedures. Manage a team of supervisory, professional and clerical staff responsible for talent acquisition and recruiting activities.

We're looking for candidates who:

II. Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • Six+ yearsof successful recruiting experience to include:
  • Three years focused on leading and developing a consultative recruiting team
  • Serving as a consultative partner to business leaders and HR COE's to build and maintain positive relationships while driving TA initiatives
  • Demonstrating strong people management skills with an ability to manage both individual contributors and Managers
  • Optimizing technology and tools to provide enhanced consulting and client services, utilize analytics to operationalize, influence and support decision making across TA

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of:

  • EEOC Guidelines
  • State and Federal selection and hiring regulations
  • Statistical methods and analysis and recruitment analytics
  • Techniques used to fill requisitions timely
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Ability to:

  • Coach team members on how to effectively develop their candidate management skills and identify opportunities for improvement across the team
  • Exceptional organizational skills, comfortable with a high level of detail yet mindful of the bigger picture
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and can create and present information in a well thought out story
  • Lead through change and champion change management
  • Quickly pivot focus based on business needs and continue to deliver results
  • Identify and resolve issues independently, will take initiative and be accountable

Management ability to include:

  • Workforce management & employee development
  • Organizing and planning
  • Budget preparation
  • Policy development and implementation
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Coordinating, facilitating and leading mid-to-large size projects

III. Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years focused on leading and developing a consultative recruiting team in a high-volume setting and fast-paced work environment
  • Successfully adapt and pivot to the ever-changing needs of the business on short notice
  • Workday experience; ATS and Reporting
  • HR Certifications; SHRM-CP, PHR
