Job Description: Position Title: COA Coordinator Reports to: Ingredient Quality Manager Position Description and Purpose:Founded in 1923 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roskam Foods is a leading contract manufacturer that partners with world-renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers to produce a myriad of frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable products. Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness. The role of the Quality COA Coordinator is to ensure these goals are met through maintaining quality documentation with attention to detail and strong internal partnerships with all departments. Key Responsibilities: The Quality COA Coordinator is responsible for monitoring incoming and creating outgoing Certificates of Analysis for all plants and Business Units as assigned. The COA Coordinator must have strong interpersonal skills allowing them to become familiar with the plant processes and work with others to ensure alignment and drive continuous improvement within the daily operations in the plant. * Ensure alignment of documentation with quality policy and SQF elements * Develop a strong connection with departments involved in initial product setup * Develop a strong knowledge of plant floor activities * Support the maintenance of SQF certification * Support the maintenance of Kosher, RSPO, and Organic certification * Document control * Must be detail-oriented * Good verbal and written skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Required and Preferred Qualifications: Required: * 2+ years of industry experience in documentation * Working knowledge of quality systems to ensure food safety and quality * Strong interpersonal skills to include team building and oral communication * Strong documentation skills * Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and computing skills Preferred: * Experience in working in quality systems documentation within the food manufacturing industry Roskam Foods offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental and vision benefits, life and disability insurance, and a 401K plan with company match.
