We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong foundation in architecture to oversee and coordinate all aspects of an assigned portfolio of Montefiore Einstein Design and Construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in architecture, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to manage complex projects from conception through completion. Projects maybe located at any Montefiore Einstein site including MMC, CHAM, Weiler (Einstein), Hutch, WSQ, Wakefield, MNR, Shaffer, MNV, AECOM, MMG off sites and FGP off sites.This role will provide mentorship and supervision over junior project management staff related to specific project duties. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage design and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop project plans and design strategies.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site evaluations, and risk assessments to ensure project viability.
- Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental policies.
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met.
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any issues that arise.
- Manage contract negotiations, procurement processes, and vendor relationships.
- Review architectural plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture is required.
- Proven experience in project management within the design and construction industry.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction processes, and building materials.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore) and architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Five - sevenexperience in working at an architectural firm or as an owner project manager on complex projects such as healthcare or life-sciences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in project management.
- Master's degree or additional coursework in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
