What do you need to succeed?

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Infra. Architect with 12+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS and will be responsible for designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions. This role offers a hybrid work model with rotational shifts and does not require travel. The Sr. Infra. • Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions using AWS.
• Oversee the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address infrastructure needs.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and best practices.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for critical systems.
• Conduct regular infrastructure audits and assessments.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud infrastructure.

• Extensive experience in AWS including EC2 S3 RDS and VPC.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of networking security and compliance in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch or ELK Stack.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000-$133,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
