Overview To perform Quality Control on the most complex research and analysis of Navy Federal account activity to identify red flags and suspicious activity in personal and business accounts. Perform Quality Control of in-depth risk reviews, currency transaction reports (CTRs), suspicious activity reports (SARs), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) hits, and other system alerts. Perform activity trend analysis and audit work of other Quality Control team members. Maintain knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC history, regulations, and industry guidance. Support Business Unit staff in complying with established BSA/AML and OFAC policies and procedures. Maintain familiarity with typical legal business structures and normal activity by business industry. To respond to ad-hoc BSA/AML related queries and provide subject matter expertise to partner business units when applicable. Work is under limited supervision. Identify, review, and report suspicious activity and risk exposure across various delivery channels. Ensure adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations. Responsibilities
