Job Title: Human Resources Business Analyst

Location(s): Basking Ridge

Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years


  • Work closely with the functional Learning team, other HRIS partners, and IT to manage systems projects end to end for internal customers
  • Manage the Learning process from needs assessment, product design and development, through product testing and implementation
  • Translate business requirements into Workday solutions with clear technical specifications
  • Configure Workday Learning as specified in requirements and design
  • Manage status reporting to drive results and meet deadlines
  • Plan and test products/system enhancements
  • Troubleshoot production issues, configure and retest fixes
  • Assist with manual processes and data entry as required (e.g. daily audience migrations)
  • Participate in Workday Learning Strategy/Transformation working sessions to understand, advise and create business processes (e.g. Learning paths and targeted learning paths)
  • Establish strong partnerships that build strategic, results-oriented relationships with customers.
  • Communicate and present to leadership.


You'll need to have:


  • A Bachelor's Degree or five or more years of work experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Ability to understand the business need and overall strategy and independently research and respond with the best technology solution.
  • A strong understanding of Workday Business Process Framework.
  • Ability to create and modify learning business processes.
  • Understanding of Job Profiles, Job Positions, Skills, & Supervisory Orgs.
  • Ability to configure Workday Learning and recommend streamlined, user-friendly,
  • automated solutions.
  • Ability to develop moderate to complex prototypes in sandbox to help visually illustrate Workday Learning requirements.
  • Experience in creating Condition Rules and Validation Conditions.
  • Experience with Workday Learning Configuration.
  • Experience configuring Learning Topics, Courses, Offerings, Programs, Lessons,
  • Campaigns, Help Texts, Guided Tours, and Custom Notifications.
  • Experience configuring Extended Enterprise Learners.
  • Ability to write and execute Workday test scenarios.
  • Experience with Workday Report Writer tool for building custom reports to meet
  • business requirements.
  • An understanding of Configurable Security, Constrained vs Unconstrained
  • Security Groups, Domains, Domain Security Policies and Default Roles.
  • Ability to research & resolve issues with minimal direction..


Even better if you have:


  • Experience in Human Resources (preferably HRIS) or IT.
  • Familiarity with Workday Adoption Planning.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other ticketing systems.
  • Experience with Workday mobile device accessibility.
  • Experience with multi-language support.
  • Experience with AI.
