Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Chief Engineer with ESFM.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the safety of all operating equipment within the facility
Develop and train all staff in plant and emergency procedures
Handle the procurement of all repair parts for routine preventative, and emergency repairs
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
Develop a plant wide Preventative maintenance schedule for all building, process equipment, and all plant utilities
Maintain the departmental budget with focus on parts, supplies and labor management
Assure compliance with all wastewater and emissions standards
Oversee outside contractors in the repairs and upkeep of plant equipment
Available for off-site, plants startups and special projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or military experience is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
Must be capable of reading electrical schematics, mechanical, and plumbing blue prints
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Good working knowledge all aspects of plant maintenance to include but not limited to; Electrical, Boilers, Hydraulics, Compressed Air, Mechanical Equipment
Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies for critical equipment
Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and failure modes & effects analysis (FMEA)
Utilize condition monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication analysis
Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs to improve equipment reliability
Support capital improvement projects and major equipment overhauls
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Preference in a GMP environment preferred
