Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking qualified individuals to join our team to provide engineering support for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense. This includes conducting Agile software engineering in a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) environment, performing Cloud architectural design, operation, and administration functions, and cyber security and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support. Also included are rapid design, development, test, deployment, maintenance and operation of specific software and hardware capabilities to meet current Cyber Defensive needs.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Dam Neck Activity's (DNA) work is focused on providing engineering, acquisition, logistical, and Cybersecurity (CS) support to the Navy, Marine Corps, Special Warfare Coalition, and Joint Forces for programs including but not limited to Common Total Ship Computing Environment (TSCE), Atlanta Weapon System (AtWS), NAVSEA Red Team, National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC), surface and sub training systems, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Support for Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD).

This position is fully on-site at Redstone Arsenal Army base in Huntsville, AL.

What You'll Do:

As a Intel COMSEC Specialist at Peraton, you will provide Onsite Representative (OSR) support to NSWCDD DNA by providing administrative and technical support:

    Collaborate with key personnel to verify and maintain appropriate storage requirements for classified material.
  • Coordinate and fulfill all monthly and annual COMSEC management tasks and deliverables.
  • Track program Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) equipment and rekey status across multiple systems.
  • Maintain the operation of primary GemOne workstations, working closely with system administrators to apply required updates and enforce security controls.
  • Manage and support Tactical FASTLANE (TACLANE) network operations.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support across secure communications systems.
  • Oversee TACLANE configuration management to ensure compliance with operational and security protocols.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
    • Four years of additional related expereince may be considered in lieu of Bachelors
  • Full-time professional experience across the following areas:
    • COMSEC equipment storage coordination
    • COMSEC management scheduling and reporting
    • CCI equipment tracking and rekey monitoring
    • GemOne workstation administration and updateTactical FASTLANE (TACLANE) network operations
    • Technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
    • Configuration management for TACLANE systems
  • Must have IAT Level III certification (any of the following):
    • CASP CE
    • CCNP Security
    • CISA
    • CISSP (or Associate)
    • GCED
    • GCIH
    • CCSP
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Current U.S. Passport or ability to obtain prior to start.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
  • Strong understanding of DoD communications security policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with mission-critical communications systems in a DoD or intelligence environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a secure, fast-paced environment

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
