General Superintendent

We are looking for a talented General Superintendent to join our team at our project site near Lexington, Kentucky.

In this role, you will assume primary responsibility for all field activities on assigned construction projects, with oversight responsibility for all projects executed within an assigned construction program. Above all, this position ensures the achievement of safety objectives on assigned projects.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide oversight responsibility for all field activities on program construction projects, as well as for all projects executed within an assigned construction program.
• Lead field personnel to meet Program and Project goals.
• Ensure the achievement of corporate goals for assigned programs and projects.
• Manage client interactions at the site on assigned projects and promote positive relationships.
• Ensure that assigned projects meet applicable quality requirements.
• Make sure projects meet applicable quality requirements.
• Works with Program clients to identify new opportunities to provide additional services.
• Supports Regional and Program Project Directors in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales and marketing documents.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
• 20 years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline.

Context and Safety

• This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
• Position may be assigned to the client site for an extended period of time.
• Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client's location is possible depending on the assignment.
• You will visit construction sights and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules.
• This position is a safety-sensitive position.
• The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for fieldwork for IPS employees or subcontractors.
