Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for Deployment, Middleware and Environment Management for Lower-Level test Environment Work closely with Technology Infrastructure Teams, Development Testing Teams in supporting Integrated / Independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, server upgrades, etc. Perform troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and programming skills Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and problems including single user and branch issues escalated by Advisory users Partner and build subject matter expert teams to identify cause and resolution to escalations where root cause/issue is caused by technology supported by partner teams Provide monitoring of the environment during release or independent change and tracks changes to the production environment Look for areas of improvement in monitoring, application stability, and speed of determining root cause Debug and troubleshoot performance and software issues Manage changes, defects, and projects across various testing and PROD environments Handle multiple tasks/projects and adapt to a constantly changing environment Work independently and within a team Work after hours and weekends to support release changes Defect triage of issues in the application testing environments Deployment of code and/or retrofit of production code Communicate to our clients and/or consulting on design of infrastructure Rebuild Servers Work side by side with testers and developers to ensure all are working cohesively System patching Technical documentation Partnership and communications with internal customers and partner teams Requirements: 5+ year experience with Windows 2012/2016, IIS, .Net application integration in large complex environments Application support, ensuring stability for high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications in a production environment Hands on experience with DEVOPS on Windows Operating Systems, System Administration and Automation Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through AGILE framework DEVOPS using XLR/Ansible Hands on experience with Application Middleware (.Net, IIS, JRE, etc.) Hands on experience with PowerShell scripting Environment Management skills on WINDOWS Servers Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows environment Basic understanding and troubleshoot experience of multi-tier applications, Networking, SQL Good working knowledge of CI CD Process. like Ansible, Jira, XLR, etc. Knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting Prior Bank /Finance work experience Pay Range: $61.60 - $69.60 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
