Overview Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This position will be located at NASA's White Sands Test Facility in the Propulsion Test Department. EOE/Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran Responsibilities Duties will include instrumentation and control system design, build up, checkout, validation, actively support propulsion test operations and perform post-test data analysis. Other duties include preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repair of systems and equipment. Duties may also include design, build, and operation of Propulsion standard video systems, as well as high speed, high definition, and IR video systems. Qualifications BS degree from an ABET accredited electrical engineering program and 0 to 2 years related experience, or an ABET accredited Aerospace Engineering program with strong emphasis in electrical/electronic systems and 0 to 2 years related electrical engineering experience. Experience in 2 or more of the following is desired: design, calibration, and application of instrumentation; data systems and data acquisition systems; data analysis and uncertainty analysis; design of hardwire and computerized control systems to include development of associated control system software; experience configuring, programming, and using OPTO-22, Allen Bradley or other PLC type HMI controls systems. |
