Responsibilities Are you a skilled employee relations investigator known for your objectivity and discretion? Are you looking for a flexible work environment that offers challenging work and a supportive cross functional team for those complex cases? Peraton is seeking an Employee Relations Investigator to conduct the full lifecycle of employee relations investigations on a variety of topics. This individual will be responsible for planning the investigations, conducting fact finding interviews and gathering statements from employees at all levels of the organization. The ER Investigator should hold a strong organization skillset while identifying and prioritizing high-risk complaints. This person should be able to prepare clear, precise documentation records for all cases assigned. The position will be remote with some onsite work on occasion. The successful individual will need to work independently, managing assigned case load to ensure cases are brought to completion in a timely and fair manner. The ER Investigator will need to excel in an environment where workload fluctuates, shifting priorities accordingly. Working in collaboration with the ER team including HR and Legal, the ER Investigator will summarize investigation findings, make determinations, and recommend courses of action. This individual will draft and review official disciplinary documents, communicate expectations to management for document delivery, and ensure documents are maintained within the repository. The Employee Relations team is responsible for providing support and direction to the business partners and other stakeholders by providing policy guidance and interpretation, including policies and practices related to disciplinary actions, performance, compliance, and other matters. This will include conducting trainings on topics such as investigative best practices, online case management tool, relevant employment law, and company policy. As a trusted colleague, this individual will build strong relationships with HR and across all functions of the organization. This individual should be experienced in proactively managing risk. He/She will be responsible for reviewing case data in the aggregate to identify trends and systemic issues. This individual will also have opportunity to create response plans where additional positive employee relations would be beneficial to specific locations and employee populations. May support other key HR Compliance areas such as Affirmative Action Plans, State Reporting, reductions in force, furloughs, ADA accommodations, etc Qualifications

Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
