About the Job

Summary:
We are seeking a researcher to start full time beginning in summer 2025. This position will provide the opportunity to conduct independent research and participate in larger research projects within the lab.

Our research investigates how cellular stress and protein quality control pathways function throughout neurodevelopment and how alterations influence neuronal function and contribute to psychiatric disorders. To investigate these questions, our lab leverages human induced pluripotent models and utilizes a variety of molecular approaches, including immunostaining, high-content imaging, qRT-PCR, and western blotting.

While this position includes general support tasks, it will also provide researchers with the opportunity to contribute to larger research projects. Researchers will work alongside Dr. Santarriaga to acquire and refine the skills necessary for the position. In addition, researchers will receive active mentoring and career guidance to support progress towards each individual's unique goals.
